10 Essential RL Grime Tracks
For the better part of the past three years, "trap" has referred to much more than the music of Young Jeezy, T.I., Gucci Mane, etc. Beats like Baauer's "Harlem Shake" and RL Grime's remix to Kanye West's "Mercy" have ignited dance-floors and festivals using the same label to describe their sound.
Places & Faces Referenced On ASAP Rocky's "A.L.L.A."
After his debut album, Live.Long.A$AP, ASAP Rocky went quiet for awhile-- music-wise, that is. In the interim between L.L.A. and A.L.L.A., Rocky rose atop the fashion world and romanced some very high-profile celebrities. He didn't forget the music, though, and A.L.L.A. is certainly his most ambitious project yet.
Drake Swaps "Madonna" Lyrics For "Rihanna" During Houston Show
Drake had a pretty big weekend, with his second annual Houston Appreciation event going down (on top of which, a few songs sprung a leak onto the web). We've already seen a few photos from HAW, and now we've got footage from Drake's inaugural "Jungle" tour show in H-town, which alludes to some Madge/Drizzy beef.

First, badgirl RiRi begins "Bitch Better Have My Money" while seated in the front of her car, hands on the wheel, while being chased by the police on a green screen behind her. The woman tied up in the backseat--presumably the wife of her label exec.; "Bitch Better Have My Money."

iLoveMakonnen's Twitter Hacked, Drake & Rihanna Dissed
Since some old Makonnen tweets came out of the woodwork a couple months back, it hasn't been clear whether or not the Atlanta newcomer and Drake are on good terms. Some speculated that Drizzy was distancing himself from Makonnen following some lines on IYRTITL that seemed to be directed toward a disloyal co-sign.

Moreso than ever, brands are looking for ambassadors that have a large reach on social media, and if you're looking for Instagram followings, you could do a hell of a lot worse than Rihanna. RiRi was named creative director of the clothing brand last year, but hadn't actually appeared in an official advertisement for the company until today. Decked out in all Puma everything, from her visor to her shoes, Rihanna should help Puma in its quest to compete in the recent resurgence of athletic leisure gear.

Rihanna Shares New Song "James Joint" On Her Website
Better late than never! Rihanna invited us to stream a track called "James Joint" (which will be an interlude on her upcoming album) on her website, and although she says it's "in celebration of 420," it arrives on 4/21. A brief track, it's nevertheless intriguing, especially because it sounds much more organic and jazzy than most Rihanna songs. This is definitely a change of pace from "Bitch Better Have My Money" and "American Oxygen," and acts to further amp us up for #R8.

Rihanna is a rock star, so news that she had partaken in cocaine use wouldn't exactly be surprising information, but what would be surprising is if she let herself be captured on camera in the act. A clip of RiRi partying with her friends made its way onto Instagram today, with many users jumping to the conclusion that Rihanna was snorting coke in the background.
10 Songs You Didn't Know The-Dream Wrote
More than perhaps anyone else this decade, Terius Nash (AKA The-Dream) has been R&B's go-to behind-the-scenes man. Although his solo career has attracted a ravenous, cultish following, The-Dream's biggest smash hits (and paychecks) have come courtesy of his songwriting. He's penned tracks for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige-- basically all of the most prominent female R&B singers since the '90s-- and even seen a few of them hit number one.
