For all their differences and public feuds in the past, 50 Cent and his estranged son Marquise Jackson share a petty gene that’s way too hard to ignore.
As many far and wide were taking to the socials to pay homage and applaud their dads on Father’s Day 2018, the younger Jackson decided to get in on the action and uploaded a photo with his father, captioning the snap, “Father’s Day lunch lol.”
Only the gag is, there is no sight of 50 Cent as Marquise uploaded the picture of himself next to an empty chair to make his point quite clear.
Last year, Fif cracked a few jokes when he celebrated no longer having to pay child support for his firstborn, putting out an announcement on Instagram that read, “Child support release party Friday 13, Club Lust 1:00 AM Happy Hour drinks on me. Tom petty is alive! Ladies with no kids, free admission. Ladies who didn’t collect child support, free admission.”
Marquise would soon appear in the comment section, replying: “Damn, only if your new TV show was this funny.”
The jab was aimed at his father’s 50 Central sketch comedy show on BET. It was a blow that was supplemented by assertions made by one of 50 Cent’s many nemeses, Irv Gotti, who declared that 50 Central debuted on BET with the lowest ratings on the network all year.
