On his birthday. Atlanta upstart Yung Bans dropped off a pair of new sounds for fans’ listening pleasure. While he delivered on the previously-previewed “Mean Mug,” he also came through with a new collaboration, featuring Lil Skies and Matt OX.
The new cut “Montana” arrives with a backdrop produced by CaptainCrunch and Eera. This time around, we don’t hear much from Bans, save for a brief verse toward the beginning. For the most part, you’ll catch Skies on the hook as he declares, “Bitch I got my bands up/They don’t understand us/The pack it give me stamina,” while Matt OX goes through for a lengthier role before Skies closes things out.
Similar to “Mean Mug,” “Montana” is also labeled as a leak on Bans’s SoundCloud page and we’re hoping it may clue us in to a forthcoming full-length project from the emcee.
