Young Dolph is ice cold on "Slave Owner."

Surprise EPs are never unwelcome. Especially when they arrive courtesy of Young Dolph, who seems to be getting better and better with every release. On the ruthless N***s Get Shot Everyday, Dolph has embraced his inner kingpin, taking to every track with an ice cold lease on life. It wasn't easy selecting a standout, but something about the mercy-free bars on "Slave Owner" seem to encapsulate Dolph's current vibe. While his recent shooting may have given him some perspective, it also made him colder; here, he navigates a Buddah Bless & Jabs instrumental with little caution to whoever he might offend.

Case in point, Dolph's out here coming through with some strange and off-putting Cosby references, rapping "drop a pill in her drink like Bill, smash her on the first night, I bet I will." It doesn't seem like he learned from Rick Ross' "molly" controversy, but Dolph apparently has more pressing concerns. After all, there's a price on his head, and money to be made.

Quotable Lyrics

All this swag on me, got a bag on me
An eighty ball in my book bag, got a shag on me
I let my nuts hang, I gotta sag homie
I heard a fuck n***a got a price tag on me
