Bad Ting

Young Dime is a rapper from Athens, Greece, but he has roots in Cameroon. In other words, not the first places you think of when you think rap, but with Nigeria's music scene currently booming, Cameroon probably has some interesting sounds going on as well. Dime's new record, "Bad Ting," is a groovy number, featuring stabs of synths that recall Timbaland's late career work. Things really come together when Dime double tracks his vocals on the infectious chorus. We'll be keeping an eye on him from here on out.
