Fantastic news for those who love old school hip-hop.

If you're still rocking dookie chains and Adidas Superstars in the year 2018, MTV may have the concert for you.

MTV will be hosting "YO! MTV Raps: 30th Anniversary Experience", which will commemorate the three decades since the show's premiere, and will mark the beginning of the show's re-invention on MTV's television and digital networks. The concert will be held on June 1, at the Brooklyn Barclay's Center, and will feature a full roster of talent from hip-hop's golden years.

The artists who are slated to perform include: Big Daddy Kane and the Juice Crew, Eric B & Rakim, Doug E. Fresh, KRS-One and Boogie Down Productions, Fat Joe, Yo-Yo, Onyx, EPMD, Flavor Flav, Black Sheep, DAS EFX, Special Ed, Pharcyde, Brand Nubian, Nice & Smooth, Melle Mel & The Furious Five, Kid Capri, and a Young Black Teenagers reunion, and more. Host Fab 5 Freddy will also be in attendance, alongside Ed Lover, Doctor Dre (no, not that one), and T-Money.

It's also reported that Eminem, Method Man, Redman, and more will be releasing special tribute videos during the show as well. The concert will be streamed online for those who will be unable to make it in person.

Yo! MTV Raps first began airing back in August, 1988 and was instrumental in spreading hip-hop music across the globe. The show was officially cancelled back in 1995, with sporadic spin offs and tributes airing on television, leading up to the show's upcoming re-invention for MTV.

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, April 20 at 10AM Eastern, so now's the time to break out your velour tracksuit.
