This past Saturday, Yelawolf was scheduled for a performance in Minneapolis to a sold-out crowd where he ultimately performed one song before leaving the stage for the evening, TwinCitiesMedia reports. While some fans may have been confused, disappointed or even angry, Yelawolf has issued a statement as to why the performance got cut short.
Yelawolf took to Twitter today to explain why he only played one song before leaving the stage. After only performing one song and abruptly leaving the stage, one of his people came out to say the rapper was rushed to the hospital. According to the report, people in the crowd were yelling "bullshit," to the claim and rumors started spiraling that said there was an altercation between the venues staff and his team. However, he put the rumors to rest after hitting Twitter to explain that he was suffering from exhaustion and that the show would be later rescheduled.
"Unfortunately, after taking the stage last night, YelaWolf was forced to leave the stage due to exhaustion. He is currently resting and apologies to the fans for not being able to finish the show. The Minneapolis show will be rescheduled soon," the tweet read.
Right now, Yela's on tour in support of his most recent album Trial By Fire. The tour kicked off at the tail end of September and is set to wrap up in Lousville, KY this Thursday. He's still scheduled for his performance this evening in Des Moines, Iowa.
Hopefully, the rest he's got since then has helped him get better.
