A reminder of Wopo's incredible potential.

Following Jimmy Wopo's tragic death last month, it was revealed that the rising Pittsburgh rapper had joined Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang collective prior to his passing. Unfortunately, we'll never see Wopo deliver on the incredible potential he showed since bursting on to the scene with "Elm Street," but on "Blue Hunnids," a hard-as-nails track from Wiz Khalifa's new album Rolling Papers 2, his charisma shines through on the hook, making for a Pittsburgh crew track rounded out by Wopo's close friend and collaborator Hardo, who he worked with on the joint TRAPNESE mixtape.

In an interview with HNHH in 2017, Wopo spoke of the Pittsburgh rap scene, a difficult place to make it as an artist, but one he says he was able to excel in through his prolific output. "It’s weird in the ‘Burgh, man, there ain’t really no support for the music," he said. "It’s nice though. A lot of n---as is rapping, doing their thing. Lot of n---as who was popping before I was still be rapping, they still going hard and shit." One thing's for sure, his impact on Pittsburgh will not soon be forgotten.

Listen to Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers 2, on which "Blue Hunnids" appears, here.

Quotable Lyrics:
Choppa get to popping
Make you juju on the beat
Yeah, yeah, capish, pish, you're talking bricks to me
Everytime I get with Hardo, bitch it's history
I be in the kitchen, like it's chemistry
Told 'em make a wish, bitch, ike I'm Timothy
