Jay-Z sheds some light on "Kill Jay-Z."

Jay-Z fans are well familiar with "Decoded," a book in which Jigga breaks down some of his more cryptic bars and provides in-depth explanations and insight. Now, it appears he has been doing a variation of that process, only this time, the information comes courtesy of Tidal exclusive-vignettes. After sharing a few clips from "The Story Of O.J." and "4:44," Jay sits down to talk a bit about the driving force behind "Kill Jay-Z."

"It's really about the ego," says Jay. "It's about killing off the ego so we can have this conversation in a place of vulnerability and honesty."

Jay's insight is echoed by a number of other people, including Anthony Anderson, Mahershala Ali, and more. Check out the video in full below.
