Wale drops his new video for the J.Cole diss track "Groundhog Day."

You know you've got a quality rapper when a video drops featuring cinematic slow-mo shots of alms trees in Los Angeles. In anticipation of Wale's new album Shine, Thursday saw the released "Groundhog Day," a genuine banger from the mastermind lyricist. In the video, Wale greets his West Coast fans, seemingly in an attempt to discredit Cole's antagonistic verse on "False Prophets."

From the get, the D.C. rapper sets the record straight about J. Cole's dirty laundry track. The self-described "most highly underrated" of his generation lets the beat drop before he unleashes fire on the track. Visual quality is even set aside at one point so that the viewer will focus on the rhymes. On "Groundhog Day," Wale levels shots at J.Cole with abandon, relishing at the opportunity.
