Listen to Vince Staples' latest offering "Hands Up".

After being featured on Common’s latest album, Nobody's Smiling, fellow Def Jam recording artist, Vince Staples, is finally ready to do his own thing here soon and release his debut project Hell Can Wait later this month. Tonight, the Long Beach rapper comes through and shares the project’s newest offering “Hands Up”.

As the title suggests, Vince takes this opportunity to address the recent issue of police brutality and injustice that's going on in our society, and he doesn't disappoint with it either. From the beat to the lyrics & message, this is all on point. It follows up his most recent release “Blue Suede”.

Give it a close listen, and if you like what you hear, you can cop the record on iTunes today! (Shouts Rap Radar)

Quotable Lyrics:

North Division tryin' to stop my blackness
I'm watchin' for them badges when out in traffic
Them 9-11's been a tad bit frantic
If lights start flashin', please don't panic
The DA givin' out gang enhancements
Can barely even hang to build a case off cameras
CCAT trackin' criminal patterns
Trickin' niggas into takin' strikes to get out faster
