Uno The Activist drops off his latest single, "Glad You're Back."

Uno The Activist has been on a steady grind over the years. While he's argued that he's one of the founding fathers of Soundcloud rap, he's clearly inching towards moving past the niche market and onto bigger things. It's been a few months since the release of his last project, Limbus Pt. 2 but he's continued to dish out new music since then. Today, he delivers a brand new song which samples an Ashanti record.

Ashanti might not be at the pinnacle of mainstream success as she was in the early 2000s but clearly, her music continues to resonate with people, old and young. Uno The Activist's new song, "Glad You're Back (Ashanti)" flips a classic Ashanti track while bringing the rattling bass commonly found in his type of production.

Peep his new track below.

Quotable Lyrics
I won’t lack, takin back' this sack baby
Sell my sack, I won't sell my sack baby
I'm all right, I ain't gon call you back baby
