Young Grust Rich Fam is a crew whose members YGRF Looch and Jae Thrillz have just put out a song with Troy Ave called "Pounds And Powder." Taken from their upcoming mixtape, YGRF 2: The Mixtape, the track features one of the least traditional beats we've ever heard Troy Ave rap on.
Instead of Troy's preferred boom-bap style, "Pounds And Powder" carries more of a trap flair, complete with hi-hats doing triplets and distant synth pads. If he is indeed signing to T.I.'s Hustle Gang label (which is rumored right now), Troy's gets good practice being acquainted with a more Southern beat that he's used to.
