Today, Cool Money Entertainment rapper Trapboy Freddy came through with his new mixtape Rockboy Freddy 2020 Flow, which boasts appearances from Project Youngin, Tokyo Jetz, and Young Thug. The latter, who tends to come through for the homies no matter the status, lends his considerable talents to "Smoke," one of the album's first quarter cuts. By and large, it finds both rappers operating from a melodic wheelhouse, taking to a bouncy trap instrumental; a lush chime arrangement blends nicely with shimmering guitar arpeggios and clean pianos progressions.

Though the song itself feels slightly docile, it's merely an illusion put forth by the instrumental. In reality, the words are far from welcoming. "Put a hundred guns on the street, let's go to war, I'm riding," raps Freddy, "n***a movin' like Nemo the fish, you can't find him." Thug comes through for the closing verse, making his presence felt while allowing Freddy ample room to shine. Peep the single now, and sound off below. Has this partnership piqued your interest?

Quotable Lyrics
