If you're unfamiliar, Z is a rising female songstress from New Jersey who’s making her debut on the site today thanks to this new feature from Toronto crooner Tory Lanez on her new single “Special 4 U.”
Going in over the upbeat, techno-infused instrumental, Z shows off her vocal range and delivers a R&B, pop-friendly record that finds her crooning about doing “something special” for her man or significant other just as the title depicts. “I know when I take you home/you going to make me put it down/hope you’re ready for the show,” she seductively sings over the production.
Meanwhile, Tory follows in suit and croons about his woman or significant other for being a boss of her own and rockin’ designer gear in the process. “Nobody do it like you do/hella bad when you cruise through/I’m in the club spendin’ all 100/ You a boss so you do too,” he croons with his signature voice effect added.
It’s unclear at the moment on where this will end up, but seeing how it’s available both on iTunes & Spotify, the roll out looks to be album material, but we’ll see. Take a listen and let us know what you think.
