Taker vs Rusev Casket Match announced for "Greatest Royal Rumble."

The Undertaker will be in Saudi Arabia for WWE's "Greatest Royal Rumble" event at the end of this month, but he won't be taking part in the first ever 50-man royal rumble. Fresh off his return at Wrestlemania 34, in which he squashed John Cena in under five minutes, The Undertaker is scheduled to take on fan-favorite, Rusev, in a casket match.

For the uninitiated, the object of a Casket Match is for a wrestler to trap their opponent inside the casket and close the lid. It's The Deadman's signature match, which was first used at Survivor Series in 1992 when Taker defeated Kamala. The last WWE casket match took place on Smackdown in 2015, when Daniel Bryan defeated Kane.

The WWE officially confirmed the match today, adding to a loaded card that already includes Triple H vs John Cena and a steel cage match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns for the Universal title. Additionally, the card includes a SmackDown Tag Team Championship match between The Bludgeon Brothers and The Usos, and five other title matches for the WWE Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, Raw Tag Team Championship and Cruiserweight Championship.

The Greatest Royal Rumble, taking place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will stream live on the WWE Network on Friday, April 27, at 12 p.m. ET, with a special, one-hour Greatest Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET.
