The cast selected to appear in the next season of Celebrity Big Brother has finally been announced. Reality television stars Tamar Braxton and Kandi Burruss have both been confirmed for the CBS reality series. The upcoming season premiers on January 21.
Tamar Braxton, who is known as one of the most popular personas of Braxton Family Values, announced her participation via social media. According to her caption, the songstress is pretty stoked to extend her air time to Big Brother: "Surprise! Ive been such a huge fan of this show, and finally I get to compete!"Kandi, a Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran, also shared the news with her virtual following and invited them to check out her YouTube channel to stay in the loop.
Here's the show's premise as described by CBS: "Each week, one or more Celebrity Houseguests will be evicted from the house, and the last one remaining will take home the grand prize of $250,000!" Other cast members of the forthcoming season include the like of Dina Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's infamous momager, White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, athlete Ryan Lochte, actor Kato Kaelin, WWE wrestler Natalie EVA Marie, Olympic bobsledder Lolo Jones, NFL star Ricky Williams and more.
