The legendary director has canceled Chrisette Michele's music from his new Netflix series.

By now almost everyone knows that "Black Girl Magic" singer Chrisette Michele is performing at Donald Trump's inauguration tomorrow. And though numerous influential people have expressed their concern and publicly asked her not to perform at the event, the singer has doubled down and defended her decision publicly with an open letter.

But it looks as though the repercussions of her actions are coming quicker than anyone expected as Spike Lee is the first to actively boycott the singer's music. In a post earlier today, the director conveyed his discontent with the singer in addition to proclaiming his desire to not use her music anymore. The post throws a ridiculous amount of shade as Lee writes "I Wuz Thinkin' 'bout Using Chrisette's Song- BLACK GIRL MAGIC In My Netflix Series SHE'S GOTTA HAVE IT.... NOT ANYMORE."

You can check out the post below, and please, Do The Right Thing on inauguration day tomorrow ladies and gentleman.
