Solange, Beyonce's sister, has made quite a few moves over the past 24 hours. She dropped a new single with none other than Kendrick Lamar late last night, today her cover of Complex magazine's June/July issue was revealed, plus, she announced the start of her own record label, Saint Records.
The singer tweeted the news today, revealing the label will be distributed by Sony. "Super stoked to announce I’ve started my own label,SAINT RECORDS,where I’ll be releasing my music & other projects distributed through SONY!" Solange said.
She tweeted a few more details, "Through Saint Records I will have 100% creative/artistic control & continue to passionately pursue my footing in this new musical movement."
The singer has already gone the major label route, having been signed to Interscope. She released her EP True in November via indie label Terrible Records.
