Shawty Lo drops the posthumous track "My Love."

Shawty Lo was well-respected in the rap game. His sudden death in a car crash last September came as a shock, especially to Dirty South rappers. His record label, 300 Entertainment, decided to drop a farewell album titled RICO and "My Love"  is its first single.

While the OG emcee spits about the love of his life, Lyfe Jennings brings in more vulnerability with his smooth thug vocals. Though the subject is different, "My Love" is reminiscent of 2Pac's "I Ain't Mad Cha." It's like Shawty Lo is speaking from Heaven saying everything is going to be alright.

RICO will feature the King of Bankhead's children Quando and Keke, as well as Boosie Badazz, Ralo, and others. The posthumous album drops March 24.

Quotable Lyrics

And when I went to prison
You didn't have to worry
Yet you made your own decisions
Can't explain how I'm feelin'
Before I had a meal
You were one in a million
