Scott Storch is gearing up for a solid return back into the rap game. Throughout the year, the legendary producer has been spotted working with some OG's in the game as well as some up and coming artists. He faced a few rough years in the music industry due to his drug usage and the lifestyle he was living. However, last year he made amends with his mentor, Dr. Dre, after years of separation due to his drug addiction. Since then, Scott Storch seems to be on a better path than he was in the past and is continuing to do what he does best: make music.
The legendary producer took to Instagram today to post a picture of himself, Dr. Dre and Steve Lobel. Lobel was the person who initially announced that Dr. Dre and Scott Storch had met up again after years of not seeing each other. In the caption, it read "After all these decades I can finally look at my mentor @drdre in the eyes with no glasses on and say Scott is doing right!! Why we met today is for everyone to find out soon / nothing anyone would expect @weworking All I can say is my life has been a movie." Who knows what they'll be working on. A documentary? New music? Nothing's been confirmed but we're sure that they'll be revealing it in the near future.
Hopefully, we'll be hearing new music from both Dr. Dre and Scott Storch. The two of them have a proven track record of creating fire but it's been a long time since we heard the two collaborate on anything. However, the two of them continue to prove they have a magical touch on anything they produce so if they get back in the lab, it'll be exciting to hear the outcome.
Over the past few months, Scott Storch has been very active on Instagram, posting pictures with all the people he's been working with. He's already revealed that he's been in the studio with Lil Wayne, Jazz Cartier, Russ, Cypress Hill and Chris Brown, among others.
