Schoolboy Q was down in Austin, Texas last week for the annual SXSW Music Festival. While Q isn’t entirely happy with how “corporate” things have gotten down there over the years, he did continue his set of promo runs and performances. One stop Q took time out for was the always-informative interview with Nardwuar the Human Serviette.
With his voice nearly gone, Puffy spoke to Nardwuar about his football past as a kid, sampling electro band The Chromatics’s “Cherry” for “Man of the Year,” a past teacher that failed him, violin lessons, a past MTV reality show with Tyga that never got aired, and much more.
