Yesterday Zane Lowe teased that this Beats 1 world premiere would be arriving today-- and here it is. The record, titled "Look Alive," is produced by Rae Sremmurd's EarDrummer Records boss, Mike WiLL Made It and follows up their January release "By Chance." While we're used to hearing the duo hyped up over equally energetic beats, "Look Alive" goes a different direction. It feels more experimental, with Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy's faraway, echoing vocals, and slow, deliberate production from Mike. With this relatively toned-down energy, I can see this cut as one to get the party started (rather than a mid-party-already-turnt anthem). Can you fuck with it, though?
