Photographer shares detailed account involving Twins third baseman.

Minnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano has been accused of sexual misconduct by a female photographer shared a detailed account of her encounter involving Sano on Twitter.

Betsy Bissen, a photographer for Twins Daily, explained today that the incident took place after an autograph signing at an Apple store in 2015.

In the letter Bissen posted on twitter, she alleges that Sano grabbed her wrist and attempted to kiss her several times. The struggle lasted 10 minutes, according to Bissen.

“No, he didn’t rape me, but he sure did assault me,” she wrote of the incident at an Apple store. "When I said, ‘No,’ it should have been the end of it. He should have respected that and stopped. Instead he hurt me and kept going.”

“Every time I have to hear about how great people think Miguel Sano is, I’m reminded of how awful he actually is and how he hurt me,” the letter concludes.

In addition to accusations against Sano, Betsy Bissen also noted that she experienced sexual harassment from the Minnesota Twins first base coach.

"It started off with the first base coach hitting on me almost every game I was at. I could ignore this. The first base coach didn't bother me until he tried to ask for my phone number. A married man, around 20 years older than me. I didn't oblige."

The Minnesota Twins released a statement today which reads, "Today the Minnesota Twins were made aware of allegations involving Miguel Sano at an offsite appearance during the 2015 season. The Twins, along with Major League Baseball, take these allegations very seriously. Until more information is gathered, the Twins will have no further comment."
