Imagine a Patriots team with OBJ.

When you think of the New England Patriots, you think of Tom Brady, one of, if not the best quarterback to ever do it. While Brady doesn't always have the best receivers around him, he finds a way to maximize the talent on the team and use it to his advantage. Because of this, it's no surprise that Brady had the best season of his career when he played with Randy Moss. A Moss and Brady combination just wasn't fair. Now imagine a Brady and Odell Beckham Jr. combination. That would just be deadly. In fact, it actually almost happened according to NFL analyst Chris Simms of Bleacher Report.

During an appearance on Pro Football Talk, Simms talked about the trade that could have been.

"The thing that stopped the trade conversation with Odell Beckham, Jr. because the team that was most aggressive in perusing him was the New England Patriots," Simms explained. "The New England Patriots were trying to get Odell Beckham Jr. all last off-season."

Beckham Jr. and Brady have been pretty buddy-buddy over the last few years so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think the two could end up playing together. Although we can only imagine how overpowered that combination would end up being.
