Fresh off the release of her new album The Pinkprint, Nicki Minaj keeps her name and the momentum alive with a new campaign for Roberto Cavalli. The fashion designer tapped Nicki Minaj as the new face of his brand, and she shows off the clothes effortlessly in the new images released today.

Nicki Minaj continues to give us a toned down look while promoting her new album, and this campaign perfectly fits with her more subtle appearance. In the photos taken by Francesco Carrozzini, Nicki rocks a short black bob backed by warm lighting.

Cavalli spoke on chosing a rap star to be the face of his new campaign, saying, "I chose Nicki Minaj because she embodies the exuberant and modern femininity of the Cavalli woman. In recent years we have become accustomed to women castigated in clothes that hide their body shapes. With this campaign, I wanted to send a strong countertrend message. I wanted asensual woman who is aware of her body, who is not afraid to show her curves, rather she make them as a strength.”
