Nicki Minaj encourages proper technique.

The 2018 MTV European Music Awards went down last night, and reports indicate that Nicki Minaj certainly made her queenly presence felt. Coming off a whirlwind of a year, with creative fulfillment and explosive feuds, Minaj took a moment to grace the EMA stage as the opening act. The occasion was a lavish affair, as Nicki descended in a golden elevator, moments after a lavish display of pyrotechnics. Though one generally reserves the big stage for singles, Nicki surprised fans with a rendition of "Good Form," in which she encourages prospective suitors to respect the importance of technique.

Upon touching down, Minaj linked up with her Little Mix collaborators, and proceeded to hold it down with a lively performance of "Woman Like Me." Though Minaj does indeed use a backing track at times, it's clear that she's spitting live for the majority of the time. Given the elaborate choreography and literal fire, a little bit of leeway is well deserved. Be sure to check out the footage below.
