Netflix is on a roll with their animated department. The popular streaming site has ordered a new adult cartoon series entitled Paradise P.D. According to EW, the series will be created by the same team that brought the world Brickleberry. If its predecessor is any hint at where this new series will head, viewers should be prepared for dark humor and inappropriate yet satisfying fits of laughter.
EW also reports that the series pitch is as follows:“They’re bad cops. Not bad like no-nonsense. Not bad like cool. Bad like sh—y. Paradise PD: They’re the worst responders.” Netflix also announced the series on Twitter.

The series will star Sarah Chalke, who plays Beth on Rick and Morty and Dr. Elliot Reid on the comedy series Scrubs. Other cast members include Tom Kenny (Spongebob Squarepants, Heffer Wolfe on Rocko's Modern Life, and the Ice King on Adventure Time ), Dana Snyder (Master Shake on Aqua Teen Hunger Force), and Dave Herman (Mr. Frond on Bob’s Burgers).
