Netflix reached out in a funny but also creepy way.

If you're one of the people who has already started their holiday season binge watching deluge, you're definitely not alone, especially when it comes to movies that center around Christmas film or TV content. However, if you're one of the few people who have watched Netflix's new Christmas movie everyday for the past two and a half weeks straight, then even the streaming company is slightly concerned (but maybe not actually).

In a world having movies going on repeat is the norm, Netflix's newest holiday treat, A Christmas Prince, has clearly already made some die-hard fans. That being said, the way the streaming giant worded its tweet on the subject was, well, kind of odd. Check it out below.

Let's just unpack that for a second. It's great that Netflix, if you're taking this literally, is thinking about the handful of people who clearly have an obsession with this particular Christmas movie. However, there's more than a tinge of creepiness in its tone, as one Twitter user noted rather succinctly. Check it out below.

There are also people out there who prefer to be left alone rather than called out on their binging habits, even if it only concerns the one movie. Case in point, Netflix is basically the parent that every kid pretends is stepping out of bounds by asking a simple question. See a portion of the reactions to the company's one-liner below.

It was actually a pretty sweet day for Netflix as far as awards recognition goes, as the company's original content garnered several Golden Globe nominations again this year, including a Best TV Series nod for Stranger Things. Check out the full list of nominees here.
