DJ Khaled may be having something of a moment with SnapChat right now, but he's had a long storied career as a DJ, and naturally, Nardwuar made sure to dig deep in his latest interview with Khaled at SXSW this year. Right off the bat, Nard brings Khaled back to his early days in Florida, getting him to reflect on a few legendary vinyl releases from the city's vibrant music scene. As usual, Khaled has a lot to say, sharing stories about when he worked at Champs sports and would slip cassettes into the shoes he sold, and giving some insight into local DJs like the late Uncle Al, Magic Mike, and Disco Rick.
Of course, Khaled is continuously impressed with Nardwuar's extensive knowledge, and the interview proves to be one of his better recent interviews, as well as Nard's.
