MadeinTYO and Gunna share common ground.

Like the titular step brothers in the movie Step Brothers, MadeInTYO and Gunna share a variety of interests. For one, the accumulation of "bags." Second, a desire for frequent, borderline pornographic sexual experiences. Such are the foundational pillars of their latest collaboration "Figure It Out," which finds both parties navigating an airy, somewhat whimsical banger. The infectious instrumental may trigger involuntary spasms, but such is part of the thrill.

It's hard to say whether or not the track is lyrically lacking, or simply as lyrical as it needs to be. Both Tokyo and Gunna hold it down with dexterous flows; while they aren't covering any new ground, they continue to excel at their respective styles. TYO's third verse stands out, as the rapper turns in an animated performance. In fact, the verse actually seems to borrow the same flow from Anderson .Paak's "Bubblin," or perhaps I'm simply imagining things. In any case, it's a good look for the duo - peep their handiwork live.

Quotable Lyrics

Used to do Ramen for lunch
Now I do lean with the punch
I get whatever I want
I'm in Japan when I stunt
Louis Vuitton with the font, Louis Vuitton with the blunt
Run it back for the kickoff
Big big, take your fit off
Know some n****s, take yo' shit off
Smooth n****, like I'm Ray Charles
