Trevor Noah & Lupita Nyong’o make for a mighty duo.

Lupita Nyong’o is still basking in her Black Panther success and already has her next project on the go. The 34-year-old is set to star in Trevor Noah's biopic, Born a Crime that follows the Daily Show host's life growing up with his mother and father.

The film is based on Trevor's auto-biography Born a Crime: Stories From a Southern African Childhood. His best-selling novel details growing up in post-apartheid South Africa with a white father and black mother and the trials of fitting in. A good part of the novel, and presumably will be depicted in the movie, focuses on Trevor's mother Patricia who grew up in a hut with 14 others and made it a priority to take her son to church three times on Sunday, as well as a prayer meeting on Tuesday, Bible study on Wednesday, and youth church on Thursday. There's been no word on when the film will begin production.

Before the release of Black Panther, Lupita spoke with Allure magazine on her experience working onset of the film. "It was just such an inspirational experience because so much thought was put into this film," she said. "And every single aspect of it was rich and beautiful and just arresting, actually. To see this aspirational African world that actually becomes an example for the whole wide world was spellbinding. We were all very much aware that we were in something extremely special."
