With exception to a couple releases last month, “4get” & “Fear Or Lust,” Chicago rapper Lucki has been relatively quiet since he last dropped off his Watch My Back mixtape back in May, but thankfully that changes here today. Keeping his word from the other day, Lucki decides to return to the scene today & share a new single with fellow Windy City rapper Famous Dex called “Relax.”

Going in over production from Plu20 Nash and Mayhem Meech, the two Chicagoans deliver a brief, minute and a half record that finds them trading bars & boasting about bagging bitches & rocking icy jewelry in the process. Surprinsingly, we don’t hear them talk about getting high on Xans, something Lucky was known for when he first got in the game.

“I don’t fuck with Xanax anymore,” Lucki said. “This is why I started getting into Xans. Some terrible big homies, I popped a Xan and I remember feeling so free. That’s why people get into so much trouble of Xanax. Because you don’t think about consequences. And me? I was just overboard. Like, this shit is fun.”

No word yet as for where this will record end up, but based on its length, it’s most likely something just to hold fans over while we wait for something more from the two. In fact, Famous Dex’s debut album, Dex Meet Dexter, was supposed to drop back in June, but has since seen an unfortunate set back so that’s still on the way.

While we wait, check out the new release “Relax” and let us know what you think. New music from both Dex & Lucki is on the way, stay tuned.

Quotable Lyrics:

Wait, sit back never relax
Shooters on me, big mix match
My 30 on me, got the kick back
Run up on 'em, get your shit snatched
