Atlanta producer London On Da Track recently signed with RCA Records, and in celebration, the label has released London's brand new single "No Flag," featuring 21 Savage, Offset, and Nicki Minaj. As you've no doubt come to expect from London, the production is crisp as hell, with a clear drum mix and hypnotic synth arrangement. 21 Savage comes through first for a sexually explicit verse, throwing in a bit of subtle humor beneath the menace of his monotone delivery. He also lays down a bit of double time flow for the track's hook, which will no doubt get people turning up.
While Nicki Minaj has been under a little bit of scrutiny over her recent musical output, she delivers a seeming return to form on this one. She has no intention of letting you forget that she's the queen of this rap shit, and if anybody is coming for the crown they better come through with their A-game, lest they end up forgotten. She makes it clear that she stands alone on the pedestal, and while she doesn't specify any names, many will no doubt comb her lyrics for some subliminal shots. Insofar as first singles go, it's a certainly a good look for the producer.
If you're feeling London's vibe, you'll be pleased to hear that the producer is taking his show on the road for the "No Flag Tour." Spanning across fifteen dates in both the U.S. and Canada, London will be spinning some of his classics and presumably some new bangers.
