Weezy Season is upon us, and apparently that consists of various athletes posting Carter V promo to their respective social media accounts.
Earlier in the week, Kobe Bryant posted a promotional image to Twitter, which was quickly confused for the official cover to C5, and now, Professional Boxer Floyd Mayweather has joined in on the hype cycle.
Today, an Instagram video appeared on the fighter's account, depicting Wayne and Drake vibing out in the studio, as an instrumental (presumably from the album) plays.
It finishes with the phrase; "Lil Wayne: Carter V Season". We'll have to wait and see if this is the beat Drake finds himself on for Wayne's new project.
Update: according to Wayne's official YouTube account, the song heard in the clip is "Believe Me", a phrase Wayne also tweeted just a couple of days ago. Chances are, this will be the first single from the album, and will feature Drake. No word on a release date.
