Chicago's had a huge presence in the last two XXL Freshman classes, with Lil Bibby, Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa and Tink all showing up in either 2014 or 2015. One notable exclusion both times around-- especially the year his close collaborator Bibby nabbed a spot-- was Lil Herb. Granted, outside of a collaboration with Nicki Minaj, he hasn't had the same star power attached to his name, but he's got heart, skills and a dedicated fanbase. His latest track, "XXL," takes aim at the magazine for leaving him off the list.
