Lil Durk is still waiting to get the green light for his Def Jam debut, but it has limited his free output. "Different" is the latest in many loose tracks the Chicago rapper has released since last year's Signed To The Streets 2, and he's stuck faithfully to his melodic form of drill throughout.
Combining the triumphant and world weary, "Different" features a prominent synth brass line, but Durk's vocal delivery remains paranoid and weathered. His fanbase is still growing by the day, so we're hoping that the label can recognize his movement and get the LP out this year.
