Spacey is trying to make a comeback.

Last Fall, Kevin Spacey was accused of sexually assaulting actor Anthony Rapp. After Rapp spoke out, several other men came forward to detail sexual assault that they had experienced at the hands of Spacey over the past 40 years. Spacey was fired from his starring role on House of Cards, which may have been the series to jump start Netflix's original content reign. Spacey also came out as gay during the scandal, incurring the wrath of the gay community because he used his "coming out" to distract people from the negative press he was receiving.

Spacey lost several roles since the accusations became public, but now he is set to return to film in the movie Billionaire Boys Club. According to PageSix, the movie is based on the true story of a Los Angeles Ponzi-scheming ring in the 1980s. It also stars Taron Egerton, Ansel Elgort, Emma Roberts, Suki Waterhouse, Billie Lourd, and Cary Elwes. The film was shot and completed two and a half years ago, but has been on hold amid Spacey's sexual abuse allegations. It has finally been given a July 19 release date. Speaking with PageSix, actor Richard DuPont  stated. “People have such short memories, and Spacey is almost unrecognizable in a beard and glasses." DuPont is also featured in Billionaire Boys Club.
