After releasing "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe (Remix)" featuring Jay-Z earlier today, Kendrick Lamar called up Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 to talk about the big record, and his #1 spot on MTV's recent 'Hottest MC List'.
During his interview with Flex this evening, Kendrick spoke about the big record featuring Jay-Z and how it came about. Kendrick says their camp just reached out through mutual friends and Jay gave it a go. Kendrick also went on to say that Hov wrote his verse first and sent it over for K Dot to finish it. He also said that he and Hov may have one or two shows together during the upcoming Yahoo! On The Record tour.
Later, Kendrick talked about his #1 spot on MTV's "Hottest MC List". He also gave his thoughts on Kanye thinking Lil Wayne should've been the #1 spot.
