On July 1st, Kaliraps will release his mixtape Mr. Misunderstood, and today he's shared a track from the upcoming project with us. "Make It Seem Easy" features newly-minted XXL freshman Jon Connor and production from Statik Selektah.
Quite fittingly, the track features Kaliraps and Jon Connor making rapping seem very easy, and Statik Selektah giving us a crash course in vinyl scratching. This is a textbook hip-hop collaboration, with each rapper getting equal time to spit verses, a simple hook being formed from a brief vocal sample, and plenty of sonic bells and whistles courtesy of Mr. Selektah.
