J.Rashad is originally from Flint, Michigan, but he moved to L.A. to attend USC and compete in track and field. He's since graduated and decided to pursue a career in music rather than athletics, sharing "Under The Influence," a taste of his upcoming debut project, F.L.A.M.E.. Running with the L.A. influence, Rashad seems to have studied the work of TDE, choosing some slightly experimental production and greeting it with a barrelling flow similar to what we've heard on Kendrick Lamar and Isaiah Rashad tracks. There's plenty of unique personality in there as well, making Rashad a rapper to watch over the next little while.
