Pure Sweat Basketball recently unleashed a brand new training video, featuring basketball trainer Drew Hanlen as well as Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Joel Embiid, Boston Celtics rising star Jayson Tatum and Orlando Magic rookie Mo Bamba, among others.
In the 10-minute video, Embiid, Tatum and Bamba can be seen battling it out in a series of 1-on-1s which included some trash talk stemming from the Celtics and Sixers' budding rivalry. At one point, Embiid can be heard demanding that he gets the ball first, but Tatum makes his case by telling the All-Star center, "I beat you in the playoffs." As expected, Embiid was vocal throughout the 1-on-1s, comparing himself to the GOAT and asking those in attendance if they think Tatum can guard him.
While Tatum is one of the few second-year players who are not participating in the NBA Summer League, rookies such as Mo Bamba are preparing for the knockout tournament in Las Vegas that gets underway today. Bamba, the sixth overall pick by the Orlando Magic, is averaging 8.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game through the first three Summer League games.
