Here's a first for Jay Z. The rapper is looking to get into the fragrance business, and will be launching his very first cologne later in the month, on November 20th.
Hov's new cologne, titled Gold, is one aspect of his partnership with Barneys, which recently came under fire when black customers at the New York flagship store were discriminated against.
Jay said he had to think things over thoroughly before making a decision to re-neg on the partnership, and the CEO of Barneys responded by offering an apology to Hov-- it looks like the limited edition Holiday collection is happening as planned.
The scent of the fragrance is broken down as follows:
Top: "The brightness of Sicilian Bergamot and ginger warmed with Cardamom."
Mid: "Masculine vetiver and teak wood mingle with the spice of pink pepper."
Base: "Rich amber and sensual myrrh are smoothed with bourbon vanilla."
