Alive

Javon is a rising rapper out of Dayton, OH, and his new record "Alive" is a good introduction to his world, creating a dark and hazy atmosphere similar to something of of Earl Sweatshirt's I Don't Like Shit.... Just when it seems you've got a hold of his vocal style, he breaks out the melodies, subtly manipulating his voice in interesting ways that hint at his potential to experiment with different sounds.
