The Brooklyn-based artist is best-known for producing and mixing for artists like Playboi Carti, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, BJ the Chicago Kid, and JMSN, but he has yet to let his own music, crafted during countless, brooding hours in his dimly lit home studio, see the sunlight. Until now.
"No time to be stressing over you," Izaïah coos on the refrain of his new self-produced release, "Over You." His quietly assured voice play the role of super-ego to the id of the urgent, muffled auto-tune wailing in the background. These auto-tuned vocals emerge in the song's climactic finish amidst cavernous drums and a roiling wave of TRON-like synthetic funk.
