Ice Cube fundraises with Goodyear and A Place Called Home, and finally gets his name on a Goodyear blimp.

In Ice Cube's classic 1992 hit "It Was A Good Day" the rapper told a story of an ideal day in his life, from dawn to dusk. The day finished with Cube spotting the words "Ice Cube's A Pimp" on a Goodyear blimp. Yesterday, on January 20th, twenty two years later, his lyrics became a reality.

Ice Cube participated in a fundraising activity in L.A., in an effort to raise money for a charity called A Place Called Home. The charity aims to provide educational opportunities, mentorship and counselling to youth aged 8-21 in South Central L.A. Part of the fundraising endeavor initiated by "Team Good Day Blimp" through site Crowdtilt was to raise $25,000, and to get Goodyear involved. Well, their goal was met, and Goodyear celebrated by flying a blimp over South Central L.A., with help from Ice Cube.

Check out photos from Cube's Goodyear blimp above, and while it doesn't exactly say "Ice Cube's A Pimp," it's close enough.
