Last month, Netflix unveiled a huge batch of 15-minute comedy specials, including segments from Aisling Bea, Michelle Buteau, Tim Dillon, JR De Guzman, and Sabrina Jalees. It was about 240 minutes worth of material, which any Netflix binger will know, can be pulled off in a night. The good news for those who digested through the first course a little too fast, is you won't have to wait too long for another helping! A new trailer featuring eight more comics has been released by Netflix today, highlighting moments from a bunch of new specials headed to the service for Friday, August 31st.
Aisling Bea, Emma Willmann, Janelle James, Josh Johnson, JR De Guzman, Kate Willett, Matteo Lane, and Max Silvestri are the comedians who'll be featured this time around, some of which are returning for a second set. Much like the last round, the specials were filmed at Atlanta’s Terminal West earlier in the year.
As it turns out, it's a big day for Netflix comedy announcements, as it's been revealed that Tiffany Haddish has secured a full-length special for the service to be released in 2019. The Haddish deal follows exclusive Netflix specials from big-name comics including Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Chris Rock and Kevin James.
