Gunplay has been putting in a relentless amount of work throughout 2017. He's currently gearing up to drop his second studio album of 2017 and has also dropped a solo mixtape as well as a collaborative project with Mozzy. The rapper has undoubtedly been trying to make his way back into the game after having a pretty quiet 2016. However, he spent the past few weeks feeding the people new singles off of his upcoming project. With only a few days left until he releases Haram, he gives his fans one more tune to hold them over until the drop.
Earlier today, Gunplay released his latest single "So Trill" off of his upcoming project. It's arguably the most introspective song he's released off of the project thusfar. Throughout the whole song, Gunplay details his life in the streets to where he's at now and how regardless of how removed he is from the streets, those elements are still in his character. The production on the track is pretty low-key and gives Gunplay space to air out all of his feelings. Gunplay has a very laid back delivery in the song, which makes his voice and the beat mesh together extremely well. The song gives insight to Gunplay as a person while he goes deeper into his own thoughts with this track.
While his new album Haram is due out later this week, it's exciting to see what the project will consist of. He's already dropped "Tellin'", "On A Daily" and "No Bricks". With the addition to this song, it's looking like he has a very promising project on his hands.
