It appears Gucci Mane had himself a little run in with a couple of fur activists at his book signing on Tuesday. It happened at a Barnes & Noble in NYC where Gucci was hosting a meet & greet and signing copies of his new autobiography book.

All was normal when a man walked up to Gucci and said he heard Gucci went vegan, “Word on the street is that you is thinking about going vegan brother?” he said to Gucci while dapping him up at the beginning. “But you can't be vegan if you keep wearing that fur,” the man yelled out, while another female came out behind him and the two whipped out some banners and started chanting “shame on Gucci, animal abuser/ shame on Gucci, animal abuser,” before they were quickly escorted out of the building by his security.

Thankfully TMZ was able to get their hands on the clip because Guwop’s reaction is pure gold. Looking confused as all hell, and rightfully so, Gucci literally didn't say a word the entire time and calmly looked on as his hands never left his front pockets. He didn't even take a step back or away when things started to escalate, he just continued to stand there like an OG.

TMZ was informed that the activists were with the New York Animal Defenders and were there to protest Gucci's wearing of fur coats, which he's often been known to rock in the past. However, I don't think Gucci is about to change his wardrobe for these two knuckleheads.

Check out the fur activists go off on the ATL rapper in the comical clip (below).

In other related news, Gucci Mane is still readying his new album Mr. Davis. The follow up to DropTopWop was supposed to drop last Friday, but has since seen a setback and will most likely be released a few days before his upcoming wedding with Keyshia Ka'oir. The wedding, dubbed by BET as The Mane Event, is set to take place on October 17th, so look for the album to arrive sometime that week (10/14). While you wait, revisit his latest single with The Weekend called “Curve” right here to hold you over in the meantime.
