Gruff-voiced ATL rapper Gorilla Zoe is back with some new heat. After remaining relatively quiet this summer, with the exception of "Fuck Something" with Flo Rida, Zoe drops off a new, ferocious collaborative record with Young Scooter, "Dead Serious."
Bringing together Strong Arm and Freebandz gang in one track, the Whiteboy Beats production slaps with thundering bass and an efficient trap beat. Whereas Zoe comes through barreling over the beat like his ape namesake, Scooter exudes easygoing confidence, sounding like he could give a fuck about switching up his flow, but turning out a great verse despite that.
No word yet where this one will live.
